The road to September starts now. The squad are driven by one objective, win the league.
13 new signings, 6 under 17s. A fresh squad eager to impress. First team manager Robert Wright praised the "good energy" shown by the players as the newcomers quickly settle into life at KUWFC.
"I think we've got some really good characters that are coming in.
"It is nice to see the existing players instantly welcoming the new ones. And the new ones have arrived with a bit of confidence as well," said Robert.
No stranger to the demands of pre-season, Robert admits the first day of training is always the hardest. Still, the team arrived ready to work, showing determination, discipline, and a clear passion for the upcoming season.
Hungry for silverware and motivated by promotion, Robert outlined his expectations for September as the new season begins, highlighting his high standards for the team and his commitment to guide the club up the leagues.
"I really want to win a trophy. I want to see the players lift a trophy. For the players that we have, they deserve to win a trophy.
"I think we definitely want to get out the division that we are in. That is kind of a must.
"It is about time we get promoted," mentioned Robert.
With nothing in mind but winning the league, Robert has embellished a mindset to the squad. One goal they all need to focus on. Approach the season together as if they will win the league.
